What services does Martha’s Vineyard Live Music provide?
We offer live jazz, blues, and rockabilly on Martha’s Vineyard for your summer parties and events.
From a solo artist to an eight-piece band, we provide live music for private parties in your home, at your business, and on your yacht.
We also have a roster of DJs available for your party.
Who have you played with?
We are a group of musicians who have performed with blues, jazz and rock greats such as B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Todd Rundgren, Bill Charlop, Sean Lennon, Bobby Moses, Dave Holland, Phoebe Snow, Bette Midler, Al Jarreau, among others.
Our rockabilly singers and performers have toured worldwide and have opened for The Safaris, The Band, David Crosby, The Cowsills, The Temptations, John Sabastian, Paul Butterfield, John Hammond, The Meters, Chubby Checker, and Journey, among others.
We are having a party tomorrow, can we call you?
Sure! We’d love to hear from you. Of course if you know in advance you’re having an event or party let us know as soon as possible so that we may reserve your dates. But if your event is last-minute, will we do our best to accommodate you.

When are you available?
We are available Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
What type of events have you done on Martha’s Vineyard?
We’ve played at numerous private events – from formal cocktail parties to beach bashes. Also on the Vineyard we’ve performed live music for weddings, fundraisers, art openings, and open-air jazz concerts. We’ve done business events and performed on private yachts. We’ve also brought down the house at The Ritz, The North Shore Ale House, and the Sand Bar, among others.
I’m having a formal party. Are you guys presentable?
Absolutely. We are professionals, and behave and dress respectfully. If you have a specific dress code, please let us know.
Are you going to be too loud?
Or, are you going to be loud enough?
You’re the boss. If you want the level down, we will be happy to perform great background music. If you want a rockin’ dance band that brings down the house, we deliver the goods.
Why should I have jazz and blues at my party?
Jazz and blues are great for setting the mood at an event. If you are hosting a cocktail party we can provide a jazz soloist, duo, trio or more – up to an eight-piece swing band.
Why should I have rockabilly at my dance party?
Rockabilly and blues are at the root of all rock music. The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Jimi Hendrix all owe a debt to rockabilly.
We perform Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly and other rockabilly greats.
Rockabilly is an infectious dance music; we guarantee your guests will have a great time.
Do you really play on private yachts?
Yes, we do. We can work in very small spaces. We are also not easily seasick.
So, who are you guys?
We are a group of friends who have been playing together for more than 20 years and have performed worldwide. We attended top music schools, and are fulltime musicians and teachers. We live on the Vineyard during the summer.
Who have you played for? Where?
Most recently, we played CBS’s annual holiday party and rocked the house for Katie Couric, Dan Rather, and Mike Wallace. We’ve played for Walter and Betsy Cronkite; Alec Baldwin’s Children’s Cancer Research Foundation’s Annual Benefit Dinner (and yes, Alec Baldwin sat in on drums); The 2010 National Cartoonists Society / Rueben Awards Gala; Monmouth County 2010 Conservation Society Fundraiser; and the Joan Rivers and Stone Phillips JOB Fundraiser.
